Mommy Makeovers are designed to give mamas their pre-baby bodies back. While this is a customizable package of confidence-building procedures, there’s still a lot to understand about this full body makeover. The first step is choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon who is highly skilled in Mommy Makeovers. And during your research process, always ask to see before and after images. Dr. Payman Danielpour of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group specializes in performing Mommy Makeovers and it’s his most popular surgery. Danielpour answered 17 of the most common questions to help you better understand this transformational surgery. Surgery Questions What are the most common areas of enhancement? Patients have any combination of the following surgeries: breast augmentation, breast lift with or without implants, liposuction, tummy tuck, vaginal rejuvenation, and a Brazilian butt lift. Every person’s treatment plan is different. How many procedures do patients typically get? Usually 2-3, with a tummy tuck and breast lift being the most common. What is the average length of surgery? Each patient’s needs are different so the surgery time will vary. Most Mommy Makeovers are completed within 3 to 6 hours. I perform the surgeries with my partner Dr. John Layke to get you the best results as fast as possible. What is the average price? Prices for Mommy Makeovers can range from $10,000 to $50,000, depending on which procedures are included. Consider other factors like the surgeon, operating and anesthesia fees, recovery garments, and a possible overnight stay. (Dr. Danielpour’s Mommy Makeovers begin at $25,000). What is the average age of patients? Most patients are over 40 and have finished having children. If a patient has more children after her first Mommy Makeover, will she need a second? Because of how much the body changes during each pregnancy, many doctors recommend women wait to get their Mommy Makeover until they have achieved a healthy and stable weigh and after the birth of their last child. This will help maintain the results of your procedure. Plus, it saves you a lot of money and recovery time to only do it once. Can patients still breastfeed after a Mommy Makeover? Yes, patients can still breastfeed after their Mommy Makeover. But because the shape and volume of the boobs change so drastically during pregnancy, we advise waiting until after your last child to have a breast augmentation and lift. Recovery Questions How long will my Mommy Makeover results last? It’s a permanent procedure, assuming you don’t have more children. If you get implants placed during your breast lift, we recommend replacing them every 5-10 years and getting routine ultrasounds to check for ruptures. Will I need to stay in the hospital overnight? It depends. This is an outpatient surgery, meaning you go home after your surgery. If you live more than an hour away, consider staying at an aftercare facility for at least the night to avoid a longer, uncomfortable car ride. Will I need to wear recovery garments? I recommend that surgical bras are used for the 1st week and then you can transition to a non underwire bra, normally a sports bra for the first 6 weeks How much will my movement be initially restricted? Avoid any high-impact activities, heavy lighting, pushing, and pulling over 15 lbs for six weeks. No bending and twisting, either. And ditch exercise! You can return to work after one week. When will I regain total physical capacity? After six weeks. Is sleeping while recovering challenging? Patients recover well after this surgery, but they can’t sleep on their stomachs for the first few weeks after surgery. You can manage your pain with medication during and post-surgery. What follow-up care will I need? Patients may not go into a body of water for six weeks post-operation and refrain from direct sunlight on incisions to promote proper wound healing. Do you recommend using Hyperbaric oxygen therapy before or after healing? Both! The therapy, which involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment 2 to 3 times higher than normal, increases the amount of blood your oxygen can carry. It can be beneficial to promote expedited healing, fight bacteria, and helps trigger the release of stem cells that promote healing. How do I ensure minimal scarring? Avoid direct sun exposure following your Mommy Makeover, massage the scar, and apply silicone-based scar gel twice a day. Hand massage has been proven to help with scar maturation and healing. Should I avoid anything else? Avoid caffeine, fish oil, omegas 3, aspirin and Advil for one week following surgery.

Read on for the most common surgeries included in a Mommy Makeover. Pregnancy is beautiful and heroic. For an average of 40 weeks, a woman’s body is home to a tiny, growing human. Carrying a child often results in permanent changes to the body, including stretch marks, sagging breasts and stretched abdominal muscles. A Mommy Makeover is the general term for a combination of different surgeries performed simultaneously to restore areas of the body altered during pregnancy to their pre-pregnancy state. Essentially, it’s a full body makeover. Because the body changes in so many fundamental ways while carrying children, many women opt to undergo a Mommy Makeover after they’ve finished having kids. Each Mommy Makeover can be an individualized combination of the following surgeries: Breast Augmentation Breast Lift Liposuction Tummy Tuck Vaginal Rejuvenation Brazilian Butt Lift According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ 2023 Procedural Statistics Report, of the 1.6 million cosmetic surgical procedures performed, over 1 million were breast augmentations, breast lifts, liposuction and tummy tucks. All four procedures had an increase of between 2% and 7%. Fees for Mommy Makeovers are between $10,000 and $20,000 with a recovery time of 1 to 2 months. Following are all of the basics about the most common Mommy Makeover surgeries. Tummy Tuck Abdominoplasty Many women gain a significant amount of weight during their pregnancies and lose it at some point after giving birth. A tummy tuck removes excess overhanging abdomen skin and tissue that results from this fluctuation, while also tightening the abdominal muscles. The end result: a tight, toned tummy. You can get a full or mini tummy tuck. The difference is during a mini tuck, not as much skin is removed, the scar is not as long, and the original belly button is not removed – but its position may change. During the tummy tuck, doctors can also treat abdominal and umbilical hernias depending on the type and severity. Another added plus? Irreversible stretch marks developed on the stomach during pregnancy are often removed during a tummy tuck. Breast Augmentation Augmentation Mammoplasty Weight changes, fluctuating hormone levels, and breastfeeding can result in deflated post-baby boobs. A breast augmentation increases the symmetry, size and fullness of your breasts, usually using a silicone or saline implant inserted into the skin. You can also have fat removed from a different part of your body and transferred into your breasts to add volume. Moms can breastfeed after a breast augmentation and don’t need to wait until they’re done having children, but since this changes the shape of your breasts, it may make more sense to wait until later in life to get the procedure. Breast Lift Mastopexy As we age, skin loses its elasticity, and sometimes pregnancy speeds this up. A breast lift removes the excess breast skin envelope, reshapes the tissue, and moves the nipples and areolas to more central places on the breast for a perkier appearance. Surgeons can perform a breast lift at the same time as a breast augmentation. Liposuction Suction-Assisted Lipectomy A fan-favorite among plastic surgery clients, liposuction permanently removes fat using minimally invasive suction technology. Even for women who haven’t had children, liposuction removes fat from “stubborn” areas that can’t simply be achieved through exercise and healthy eating habits. Liposuction can be performed using tumescent, super wet or ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty techniques. The focus is on creating areas of contour, so it’s not advised to have liposuction if your main goal is losing a lot of weight. Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation Like a Mommy Makeover, vaginal rejuvenation is actually made up of multiple surgeries that target the size, shape, and function of the vaginal area by restoring soft tissue structures. Patients consider a combination of procedures including narrowing the vaginal canal that may have widened during birth, clitoral hood reduction, labiaplasty, labia majoraplasty, monsplasty and vaginoplasty. Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery isn’t the only option for achieving a tightened and smoothed vagina. There are other optoins that are noninvasive, less expensive, take between five and 30 minutes, and cause minimal welling. CO2 laser treatment heats the upper layers of vaginal tissues which causes the lower layers to produce more collagen, tightening and firming the skin. Popular laser brands include FemTouch and FemiLife. Radio frequency treatments encourage collagen and elastin production, along with blood flow, by using electromagnetic waves to heat vaginal tissue. This gives your cells flexibility and aids in rejuvenating sagging. Both of these procedures are done in a doctor’s office and without anesthesia. Gynecologists, plastic surgeons, and dermatologists all perform non-surgical vaginal rejuvenations. The results are temporary (1- 3 years) and are said to appear between 2 to 6 months after the treatment so patience is necessary. Brazilian Butt Lift Gluteal Augmentation with Fat Transfer Lovingly known as a BBL, this fat transfer surgery results in a firmer, rounder, larger butt without adding any implants. Liposuction is applied to the hips, thighs, abdomen, and lower back to extract fat that’s then purified and injected back into specific points in the buttcheeks. The BBL can be a three-for-one deal, leaving patients with a firmer butt, a more hourglass shape and fat reduction in other parts of their body.

Brazilian Butt Lift

Gluteal Augmentation with Fat Transfer

Lovingly known as a BBL, this fat transfer surgery results in a firmer, rounder, larger butt without adding any implants.

Do you ever feel like your skincare or in-office procedures just aren’t delivering anymore? Is that oh-so-promising night cream really tightening your jawline? Are you dealing with filler fatigue? Does your lower face look and feel like its falling? Chances are, you’re growing disenchanted with your current protocols and it may be time to explore a real solution. Before you opt for a surgical procedure such as a facelift, you need answers and meticulous research is necessary. Question #1: What Type of Certification Do You Have? Ask your perspective surgeon if he or she is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). This certification means the surgeon: Graduated from an accredited medical school Completed 6+ years of additional surgical training Successfully finished a 3+ year plastic surgery residency Stays current with medical developments by completing continuing education Question #2: Am I a Good Candidate for a Facelift? You might think that you’re a good candidate for a facelift, but some conditions may mean you have to wait. If you’re a healthy non-smoker with wrinkles or sagging skin, you’re probably a good candidate. In some cases, body weight, sun damage, and lack of skin elasticity may reduce your chances of a good outcome. Your current state of health is also paramount so be certain to disclose Question #3: Where Can I See Your Work? Any respected board-certified plastic surgeon should have a solid portfolio of before and after photos, so you can examine their work to see if you like their technique. Look on your perspective surgeon’s website for their gallery images. If there are no images, or if the lighting is dramatically different in the before and after photos, you may want to consider a different specialist. A good surgeon will be happy to share patient outcomes that demonstrate their expertise and artistry. Question #4: Do You Have Testimonials? Reviews and testimonials can help you gauge your surgeon’s skills as well as how they conduct consultations and handle post-op recovery treatment. These honest accounts should be plentiful if a surgeon is reputable. Look for testimonials on the facility’s website and on internet sites like RealSelf.com. You may also want to ask to speak with former patients about their experience. Question #5: How Long Does a Facelift Last? In most cases, a facelift typically lasts about 10-15 years … but you have to do your part, too. Rule #1 – Learn to Love Sunscreen. Tanning damages your skin, and UV rays make skin sag and wrinkle faster. Apply sunscreen daily and reapply every few hours if you’re outside, exercising, or sweating. Rule #2 – Develop a Solid Skincare Routine. Ask your surgeon for recommendations about medical-grade, science backed skincare as well as ingredients. Choose serums with antioxidants to combat free radical damage and looks for products that have undergone clinical trials as there is real data involved. Rule #3 – Make Healthier Dietary Choices – Your skin is your body’s largest organ, so choose foods that support your overall health and ditch or lessen sugar and alcohol because they can undermine your efforts. Question #6: Where Is the Surgery Performed? Surgeons are as unique as patients, so don’t assume your procedure will be done in a hospital. Most facelifts are performed in private surgical suites in the same location as your consultation, but sometimes surgeons perform facelifts in an outpatient surgical facility or a local hospital. Question #7: What Should I Do Before and After Surgery to Get the Best Results? Solid results and smart lifestyle choices go hand in hand, so limit your alcohol intake, don’t smoke, and take good care of your skin. Your doctor will diligently review all protocols with you for pre- and post-surgery. At least one week prior to your facelift expect the following: Stop using exfoliating products, like glycolic acid or facial scrubs, as well as retinol (over-the-counter and prescription varieties). These products can increase irritation, so ask your surgeon when it is safe to add them back into your routine. Stop taking ibuprofen or aspirin to avoid unnecessary bleeding and complications. After your facelift, follow your surgeon’s guidance to treat pain appropriately and optimize healing. Question #8: Do I Need Any Tests Before I Can Have a Facelift? Yes. Your surgeon will want to make sure it is safe for you to have a procedure, so you’ll have a complete medical evaluation in advance. This includes discussing your medical history along with reviewing all the medications and supplements that you take. You’ll also need to have a physical, an EKG, chest X-ray, and a few blood tests. These preliminary tests help ensure that you’re healthy enough to undergo the procedure without complications. Question #9: What Are Your Pre- and Post-Healing Protocols? Recovering from surgery means being kind to your body and patient with the process. Rest is essential, so plan to limit your activity and avoid anything strenuous in the first two weeks. Doctors often recommend supplements such as arnica and bromelain pre- and post-surgery that are said to help with the healing process. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can also help accelerate healing and may be suggested. Here are a few other protocols that will make the process more comfortable: Take your pain medication as prescribed. Sleep in an elevated position to limit swelling. Use ice packs to reduce swelling. Don’t bend down or lift anything heavy for two weeks. Closely follow all your surgeon’s post-op instructions. And Here is One Popular Question to Avoid: How Many Facelifts Do You Do Yearly? Volume may be a good indicator of a surgeon’s popularity, but it certainly isn’t a testament to the results you should expect. Testimonials from previous clients and before-and-after photos are much better proof of a surgeon’s skills. Wondering what else to ask? Check out this list and reach out to us any time. Your comfort and trust mean everything to us.

One of the prominent cosmetic procedures available, Liposuction offers a boost of confidence by addressing stubborn areas of fat that can be challenging to reduce through diet and exercise alone. At Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group, our doctors specialize in advanced liposuction techniques that help patients achieve a sleeker, more contoured look and a renewed sense of self-esteem. Why Liposuction? Even with a healthy lifestyle, certain fat deposits may be resistant to change. Areas like the abdomen, thighs, back, and arms can retain stubborn pockets of fat due to genetics, aging, or body composition. For many, this can impact self-image, especially when dedicated efforts in diet and exercise don’t yield the desired results. Liposuction offers a solution by precisely removing targeted fat, allowing patients to achieve a more defined silhouette that enhances their natural contours. The Procedure The process generally starts with a consultation to understand the patient’s goals, followed by a detailed treatment plan. Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group apply innovative liposuction techniques with minimally invasive options, which can reduce recovery time. Small incisions are made, and a thin tube, or cannula, is used to carefully remove fat from specific areas. The entire process is conducted with an emphasis on precision, allowing for natural-looking results that harmonize with the patient’s unique anatomy. Benefits Beyond Appearance Liposuction not only sculpts the body but also has lasting effects on confidence. Many patients report that they feel more comfortable in their clothes, as they no longer have to worry about areas they were concerned about. The procedure can help individuals feel more confident and motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle. At Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group, patients are supported every step of the way, ensuring both comfort and confidence in their decision. For those looking for a solution to stubborn fat, liposuction provides not just a physical transformation, but a lasting mental boost as well.

The proverbial “fountain of youth” may not exist, but advanced aesthetic and cosmetic procedures continue to provide visible results that even celebrities covet. Your aging journey is just that – yours – so if you want to slow the ravages of time, you’ll be excited to learn that Board Certified Beverly Hills plastic surgeons Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group have performed over 5000 surgeries and offer options far superior to standard facilities, which includes their own on-site operating room. Med spa procedures, like dermal fillers, CoolSculpting, and laser treatments are great non-surgical options as standalone treatments, but many of our patients choose to incorporate them into a more permanent approach to supplement their anti-aging routine. What do celebrities ask for most? You might be surprised to hear the answers. #1 Facelift and Neck Lift Dermal fillers and Botox offer many benefits, but if you want to smooth out deep wrinkles, lift sagging skin, and tighten your jawline, a facelift (rhytidectomy) is in order. And facelifts have come quite a long way over the last ten years, especially when performed by accomplished surgeons. “After multiple imaging studies reveal how we ACTUALLY age, procedures are now tailored toward addressing the anatomic pathology that occurs with aging,” says Dr. Layke. “We also address issues earlier, when more collagen is present, and subtle long-lasting results are possible.” While non-surgical options work wonders – and our expert injectors achieve stellar results – jowls, decreased muscle tone, fat deposits, and deep creases around the mouth and below the eyes require more than a simple plump up every few months. “Facelifts provide a natural restoration for the aging face,” says Dr. Layke. “Fillers and skin-tightening procedures can work to “camouflage” aging, similar to blowing up a balloon. Many times, however, the addition of excess volume leads to an unnatural appearance, filler migration, etc. A face and neck lift can resuspend tissue that has fallen.” Usually done together, a deep plane face and neck lift includes repositioning skin and muscle to restore sagging features to their youthful position. Our team carefully hides the incisions behind your ears and in the hairline, so your appearance will be free of any telltale signs of surgery. And best of all, these surgeries are so advanced today, the results are life-changing, especially when performed by skilled surgeons. Along with a solid skincare routine and a cautious approach to sun exposure, the results can last for years. #2 Rhinoplasty When you think of procedures designed to shave years off your appearance, rhinoplasty doesn’t exactly spring to mind. People often opt for cosmetic nose surgery for beautification purposes – to fix the shape of their nose – or medically necessary reasons – to make it easier to breathe. But one study utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) has also shown that your nose is an indicator of your age. In 2019, researchers at UCLA used AI to objectively evaluate a person’s perceived age based on their facial features. The study revealed that individuals who had undergone a rhinoplasty procedure were perceived to look up to seven years younger than their actual age, especially patients over 40. Just like other parts of the body, the nasal structure may begin to droop over time, and if your face is starting to lose its natural fullness or volume, the nose can become more pronounced. “As we age, we lose bone, especially in certain areas on the face – one of which is called the piriform (at the base of the nose). The nose begins to appear larger and droop due to the loss of bony support,” says Dr. Layke Rhinoplasty can restore the youthful tip by lifting it and/or repositioning the nose itself, so it looks balanced and more symmetrical with the rest of your features. #3 Breast Augmentation and/or Breast Lift While many women opt for breast augmentation in their 20s and 30s, this surgical option has no age limit and can successfully restore the youthful look your breasts once had, giving you a confidence boost and then some. Much like the face loses its volume over time, breasts are affected by changes in weight, the natural effects of gravity, and age-related hormonal changes. “Breast lifts in your 40’s and 50’s have a way of returning the youthful look and perkiness of the breasts that most women are used to in their 20’s and 30’s,” says Dr. Danielpour. “Over time and due to pregnancy and gravity, breasts tend to droop and the best option for returning breasts to their youthful position is a breast lift.” Saline or silicone implants can rebalance your silhouette by restoring fullness. After childbirth and breastfeeding, many women are left with asymmetrical breasts or breasts that are elongated or uneven. When performed by a board-certified cosmetic surgeon, breast augmentation rejuvenates the shape, and a mastopexy (aka breast lift) eliminates excess tissue and returns the breasts to their natural position higher on the chest, so they look more youthful. And just wait until you experience the thrill of getting dressed along with relishing the new fit of your clothes after a breast augmentation. You may have a challenging time tearing yourself away from the mirror. #4 Mommy Makeover Even if the term “mommy makeover” is new to you, the concept probably isn’t. Childbirth changes multiple areas of a woman’s body simultaneously, and the mommy makeover corrects those areas in a single surgery, which equates to less scarring and quicker recovery times. Since every woman is unique, we tailor the mommy makeover to your personal needs. One popular combination includes a tummy tuck (aka abdominoplasty) to tighten sagging tissues and restore that flat belly you loved before giving birth. Breast augmentation or a breast lift can also eliminate excess breast tissue, lift the breasts, and restore lost volume. The end result is a rejuvenated silhouette that can restore your confidence as well as how you look in and out of apparel. This combo treatment is also popular after losing weight, having a hysterectomy, or going through menopause , which often leave the abdomen looking loose or asymmetrical. You can also opt for liposuction or even a buttock augmentation to create the contours you desire. If you want to learn more we’re ready to help. Dedicated associates...

We’re all fascinated with makeovers. From home renovations to weight loss and cosmetic surgery, witnessing a life-changing transformation is thrilling. As Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, we’ve dedicated our lives to helping others feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin, and our Gallery and Testimonial pages are filled with images and videos of satisfied clients, so you can judge the results for yourself. While we achieve natural and dramatic results at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group, we know that some medical professionals aren’t exactly honest when sharing images of their work. Photoshopping skin texture and erasing sun damage are common practices, and sometimes doctors use editing apps to create eye-popping results. Before And After Images Reveal More Than Just Results. Photos document procedures from start to finish, ensuring our results are truly visible. They also help you see subtle changes you might otherwise miss. Unfortunately, unscrupulous doctors can alter images to falsely enhance results and increase patient traffic. You’ve probably used one of the filters on your smart phone, too, so you know how easy it is to alter an image. As you embark on your rejuvenation journey, please keep these tips in mind… 4 Top Tips for Spotting Fake or Misleading Before and After Photos #1 Inconsistent Lighting Nearly every surgeon takes before and after images in a dedicated plastic surgery photography room with consistent lighting year-round. These photos are set against a plain background (often blue) with no distracting objects or decorations. If the images you’re viewing are dark, distorted, or appear to be a different color than the original picture, chances are the lighting is being manipulated to enhance imperfections in the “before” image. Tip: Watch out for images that use a flash in the “after” photo but not the “before.” The variations in light trick the eye into seeing things as better or worse depending on the circumstances. Positioning matters too. “A preoperative photo with top lighting will make someone look worse, while an after photo with lights head-on “drown out” wrinkles or contour irregularities,” says Dr. Layke. Pay attention to the depth as well. “Along with the lighting, the depth of the photo is another key element to keep in mind when evaluating before and after photos,” adds Dr. Danielpour. #2 Awkward or Mismatched Angles Edited head shots showing the patient facing the camera might be hard to pick out, but it should be easy to spot a sagging jawline in photos taken from the side. An authentic set of “before” and “after” photos should include front and side views taken straight on, not slanted or angled in any way. Neck lift photos are often exaggerated to dramatize results. An authentic “before” photo of the neck should show soft, rounded tissue along the jaw and a smooth, taut jawline afterwards. Tip: Be wary of images where the patient is tilting his/her head back. That extra lift can make the results more dramatic than they actually are. And remember, the more natural the pose, the more trustworthy the image. #3 Exaggerated Postures Sometimes the “after” picture looks amazing because the person in the “before” photo is photographed in a way that makes the problem area look worse. For example, images of someone pulling their chin down toward their chest in an exaggerated manner makes neck wrinkles look even more prominent. “When looking at a face or neck lift, keep track of the lateral view,” adds Dr. Layke. “Many times, the patient is shortening their neck by pointing their chin down, causing the neck to look worse than it is. The after photo has the patient with their chin looking slightly upward, making the neck result look better.” #4 Extreme Makeup Variations Patients often return for follow-up visits and “after” photos weeks after their procedure while wearing makeup. Life happens, and newfound confidence may entice someone to change hair styles or arrive at their follow-up visit with a full face of makeup. Wearing makeup for the after images is very common, but when you encounter images that are immensely different due to makeup or hair it’s best to scrutinize them more carefully. Jaw dropping visual transformations are compelling, but remember, choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon is rule number one. We’re looking forward to sharing our artistry with you anytime. Please reach out to our dedicated team at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group to learn more.

#2 Awkward or Mismatched Angles

Edited head shots showing the patient facing the camera might be hard to pick out, but it should be easy to spot a sagging jawline in photos taken from the side.

#3 Exaggerated Postures

Sometimes the “after” picture looks amazing because the person in the “before” photo is photographed in a way that makes the problem area look worse. The after photo has the patient with their chin looking slightly upward, making the neck result look better.”

#4 Extreme Makeup Variations

Patients often return for follow-up visits and “after” photos weeks after their procedure while wearing makeup.

Ageless beauty can be achieved with both artistry and technology. Gone are the days of overdone and obvious cosmetic surgery. Here to stay is a fresh approach to aesthetics that celebrates your individuality. There is only one you, enhancing your unique features can be accomplished with finesse and precision. Choosing a highly skilled surgeon is essential for natural-looking results…and the most important decision you make. Key Considerations for Immaculate Success Cosmetic surgery deserves an exclusive one-of-a-kind experience. Diligent research is imperative to fulfill your desired beauty aesthetic. A simple search via the American Board of Plastic Surgery validates if your surgeon is board-certified—this ensures they have extensive training specifically in plastic surgery and excel in rigorous practices required. Leading surgeons meticulously listen to and examine every client before recommending treatment options. They create thoughtful and tailored plans, explaining each step with honesty and transparency. Impeccable attention throughout the entire process includes pre-operative consultations, customized treatments, post-surgery protocols, comprehensive aftercare plans, and in some cases, patient accommodations, transportation, post-operative nursing care, and home doctor visits as needed. Read client testimonials for authentic feedback about experiences and satisfaction. Additionally, look at before-and-after images of previous clients; examining a surgeon’s past work provides valuable insights into their style. Knowing you are in the hands of an artist can be reassuring. Seek a second or third opinion. Consulting multiple surgeons and assessing their recommendations guides in making informed decisions about your best path forward. Find a surgeon with exceptional talent, strong communication skills, compassion, and positive reviews. Achieving natural versus unnatural plastic surgery results is largely dependent on the doctors you choose. A savvy medical team will be genuinely invested in your well-being and deliver unparalleled cosmetic surgery with personalized care. Client Safety is Paramount Safety isn’t just a priority—it’s a necessity. Plastic surgeons at the forefront of innovation offer refined service and cutting-edge technology. All major procedures are performed in an accredited surgery center with the highest standards of care and attended by board-certified anesthesiologists. A board-certified surgeon will follow strict protocols from start to finish, including thorough pre-operative assessments, clear communication about what to expect, and flawless post-operative care. Prioritizing safety is crucial for confident, stunning results. Optimal Healing Protocols Take care of your body pre- and post-surgery with a combination of supplements, topical treatments, nutritious foods, and holistic therapies. A carefully monitored recovery process with a focus on healing minimizes downtime so you can promptly resume daily activities. Mighty vitamin C stimulates collagen; zinc supports immune function; and omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties. Powerful plant-based remedies—bromelain (an enzyme found in pineapple) and arnica (part of the daisy family)—work together to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, alleviate pain, and expedite healing. NAD is beneficial for DNA repair, cellular health, and tissue regeneration, boosting the body’s ability to heal and recover effectively. Award-winning plastic surgeons Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke suggest detailed protocols that help with recovery and healing. “We recommend several things, both pre- and postoperatively,” says Dr. Layke. “Preoperatively, we recommend supplementation with arnica and bromelain for reducing swelling and bruising. As the body requires larger amounts of energy to heal leaving a patient feeling tired, we also recommend an NAD supplement to increase mitochondrial (energy-producing organelles in our cells) activity.” Assure your surgeon uses advanced healing treatments alongside trusted, time-honored methods—massage therapy and homeopathy can work wonders. Take a deep breath: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) enhances oxygen delivery to tissues by breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized room and helps accelerate wound healing while decreasing swelling. It’s no surprise that a diet abundant in healthy foods aids healing and recovery. Leafy greens, berries, nuts and seeds, fish, and bone broth are all rich in vitamins and antioxidants that support revitalization. Enjoy these superfoods to supercharge your healing journey. Topical scar creams and therapies can also be helpful. Developed by a physician, Skinuva Scar’s patented formula of growth factors, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C can reduce the appearance of scars by up to 70% when used as directed, twice daily after the incision has healed properly. Cosmeceutical skincare is designed to nourish and extend your timeless beauty at home. Restorative products include deep cleansers, anti-aging serums, moisturizers, fillers, masks, and boosters. Embrace Innovative Technologies The target goal is balanced and natural—your beauty at its best. The secret is subtle enhancements for a healthy and effortless “I woke up like this” look. Popular plastic surgery options include breast augmentation using fat transfer from your own body instead of implants, which volumizes and lifts while also providing the added benefit of liposuction to remove excess fat.

Breast augmentation is a widely-sought cosmetic procedure that enhances the size and shape of the breasts. While a number of patients at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group achieve stunning results with the help of Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke, there are concerns and questions about post-surgical scarring. Here are essential tips and best practices to help minimize and reduce breast augmentation scars. Scarring is a natural part of the healing process following breast augmentation. The extent of scarring can depend on multiple factors, including skin type, surgical technique, and aftercare. The good news is that with the right strategies, scars can become less noticeable over time. Choose an Experienced Surgeon Selecting a skilled and experienced surgeon is crucial. Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke are known for their expertise and precision, ensuring minimal scarring through carefully planned incisions. Their vast experience means they are well-versed in techniques that promote optimal healing and reduced scarring. Follow Post-Operative Instructions Strictly adhering to post-operative care instructions is essential in minimizing scars. This includes keeping the incision sites clean and dry, avoiding activities that may stress the area, and using prescribed ointments and dressings to support healing. Use Silicone Sheets and Gels Silicone sheets and gels are highly effective in reducing the appearance of scars. These products create a protective barrier over the incision, improving moisture retention and flattening raised scars. Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke often recommend these as part of a comprehensive treatment process. Reduce Excessive Sun Exposure Exposing healing scars to the sun can lead to pigmentation changes and worsen their appearance. Use sunscreen with a high SPF or cover the scars with clothing when spending time outside during the summer. Laser Solutions Laser treatments can significantly reduce the appearance of scars. Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group offers advanced laser therapies that help break down scar tissue and stimulate collagen production, leading to smoother and less noticeable scars. Healthy Lifestyle A healthy lifestyle can promote faster and more effective healing. Stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, and avoid smoking, which can impair healing and worsen scarring. Patience and Persistence Scar healing takes time, and results may not be immediately visible. Be patient and continue with recommended scar treatments, knowing that the appearance of scars typically improves over the course of several months to a year. Minimizing and reducing breast augmentation scars is achievable with the right strategies and care. At Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group, Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke combine their extensive experience and cutting-edge techniques to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals with minimal scarring. By following these tips and best practices, you can ensure that your journey to enhanced beauty is marked by confidence and satisfaction.
