Your own fat is extracted with a small needle and then specially processed in the operating room in order to separate the damaged fat cells so as to only use the whole, undamaged fat cells for the procedure. The fat is then injected deep into the face to accentuate the cheekbones, midface, lips, cheek, chin, nose and jaw line to reshape the face. While fat in certain areas will be permanent, some people may need the process to be repeated as will be discussed with Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke during your consultation.
